Ali, Virginia Tech Class of 2013
January, February, and March have been slow photography-wise. Super slow. As in I have done maybe two shoots and they were either for a school project or just playing around with friends. This has probably been a blessing because I have had a tough semester with a huge course load, and I've needed to focus all my attention on school.
Now all of a sudden things are majorly picking up again. I've always heard photographers say winter is by far the slowest season and now I see that it really is true. The weather gets warmer and bam, I schedule 8 sessions within just two weeks. If this is any indication of how the summer is going to be, then I guess I'm about to get really busy!
My friend Ali asked me to take some pictures that she could use in her graduation announcement. After three days of one of us oversleeping or just forgetting to set alarms, we finally got them done. We explored some of our favorite places on campus and got some great shots.
If this session taught me anything it's that 1. my school is beautiful. And 2. I only have two years until I'M the one graduating. And that's just scary.
